Application for Course Approval for Salary Schedule Advancement

After employment, the SMTA / CTA / NEA- SAN MARINO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AGREEMENT, requires that courses taken by teachers for salary schedule advancement shall be taken from four year colleges, universities or graduate schools accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or its equivalent and shall be approved by the administration.

Courses approved by the State Department of Education for training in specialized
areas i.e. sheltered instruction, reading instruction, ethnic diversity; and
Courses accepted as GRADUATE UNIT CREDIT toward a graduate degree from an
accredited college or university
