HOW TO SET ADOBE ACROBAT AS DEFAULT PDF VIEWER (FOR MAC USERS)
Re: default to adobe acrobat reader instead of preview
1.  Select get info (control-I) on an existing pdf file,
2.  Click on the open with option on the get info window,
3.  Select Acrobat from the pull down menu and click change all. 
4.  Acrobat Reader will now be the default app for .pdf files.
